1. Funding Soft Infrastructure : Funds received would be deployed to create and upgrade the software and services available within the institutes in order to remain state-of-the–art.
2. Funding Medical infrastructure / Services : Funds used to create medical facilities, enhance existing services and add new medical services.
3. By Alumni Batch for a Specific Purpose : Graduating students and Alumni of the Institute may wish to contribute to the continued development of their Alma Mater or create a dedicated fund for a particular purpose, like create a memorial fund in honour of a colleague or teacher, a fund for supporting specific student activity etc.
4. Unrestricted Giving : Money received under this head will be used by the specified Institute according to its discretion and where it would be most effective.
5. Scholarships to Underprivileged Students : The vision of our founder has always been to provide education to all. Which means that no one should have to forego education within the Somaiya group for want of financial resources. We urge alumni to step forward to support this cause and assist with the fees for those students who require financial support to obtain an education.
6. Payments to Visiting Faculty : A fund pool that finances and facilitates leading faculty from around the globe to lecture at the Institute for the benefit of the students.
7. Funding Physical Infrastructure : Funds to be used to maintain the existing infrastructure of the institutions and create new Infrastructure. These may be of various kinds:

Naming Existing Infrastructure
Should a batch wish to donate a lumpsum towards the renovation of an auditorium / classroom/ seminar hall / building etc. that can be named after the batch that sponsors the cost of creation of that particular facility.
